We are unique in our approach at the Invisible Café, and we aren’t even an actual café! So do browse, learn about our community, why not join us if you have an Invisible Illness or disability and make friends with other members.
The Invisible Café will be "live" from Monday 13th September 2021.
We have a brand new schedule of weekly activities.
Take a look and we hope to see you soon.
We host a safe and comfortable programme of get-togethers and activities in the London Borough of Hammersmith & Fulham. The Invisible Café is dedicated to people with invisible disabilities. Everyone is welcome.
Be Active, Connect, Take Notice, Keep Learning and Give. These are the 5 Steps to Wellbeing.
96% of disabilities are invisible, meaning you wouldn’t usually know about them unless you were told. Similarly, an invisible disability is one that cannot be seen, may not require a wheelchair, crutches or even a blue badge.
We organise get-togethers in 'third spaces', such as local cafes, gyms, public libraries, and more, that take into account the needs of our local population with invisible disabilities. These can help boost well-being and reduce social isolation in the community.
